VCA Wheel-A-Thon

Saturday, September 28, 2019 @ 10am

We are so exited for the VCA Wheel-A-Thon 2019. This has been a long-running and important fundraiser for VCA.  It is a great way to help VCA raise necessary funds and also a fun family activity for students, families, staff, volunteers and community members to enjoy together.  Please consider sponsoring a student as they WHEEL (bike, rollerblade, skateboard, etc) for VCA. Students will wheel 1 Mile (Pre-K through Kindergarten), 5 Miles (1st and 2nd Grade) or 10 Miles(3rd-12th grade) on the Carey Lake Trail starting and ending at Hibbing Community College.  The day concludes with a fun lunch back at VCA including a bouncy house!

Thank you so much for supporting the students at Victory Christian Academy by sponsoring the VCA Wheel-A-Thon!
The Wheel-A-Thon is taking place Saturday, September 28th. This is one of two major fundraisers we do each year to help cover the costs of the school. Tuition only covers a portion of VCA’s operating costs so we are so grateful to our supporters who help our student achieve a quality, faith-filled education.

You can sponsor a student by giving directly to the student OR you can sponsor a student online by these 2 simple steps:

  1. Complete the simple Wheel-A-Thon Donation Form below
  2. Make your donation online with a Credit/Debit card

Please complete your sponsorship by making your payment online using a Debit/Credit card or your PayPal account. Just click on the Donate Button below.

You will need to enter your donation amount on the Paypal page. You do not need to have a Paypal account to pay online via Credit/Debit Card. Thanks so much for supporting VCA Students!

It’s time again for the annual VCA Wheel-A-Thon. Students of all ages from King’s Kids through 12th grade are encouraged to raise funds and wheel for our school. All students are requested to wear a helmet while participating in the Wheel-A-Thon. Parents are welcome and encouraged to take part as well. Volunteers are needed to ride with the students. Come and enjoy meeting other VCA parents.

The location is Carey Lake Bike Trail.

Starting Location is at the Hibbing Community college parking lot.

Ending Location is at the Hibbing Community college. Yes, we start and end at the same place.

This is going to be a fun family morning!  A VCA Family Potluck Picnic with a bouncy house will be held at the school for all participants in this year’s Wheel-A-Thon.

Following the Wheel-A-Thon, a VCA Family Potluck Get Together is being held back in the cafeteria of the school. It is going to be a great time to have fun and meet other VCA families. Hot dogs and beverages will be provided. We ask that each family brings a dish to share.

This year we would like to make goal of raising $30,000.00 from this fundraiser.

Believe it or not, this is a reachable goal for our school. If each family in our school raised $550 we would reach it.  If we reach our goal we get an extra day off at Thanksgiving. Just think a whole day without school! You are encouraged to ask your neighbors, mom and dad’s co-workers, and of course, gramma and grampa and all your aunts and uncles.
